Reflection:

  • What did I do? I began designing the website. I am familiar with Google Sites, so I decided this was the best way for me to go about constructing the site.
  • What was important about what I did? Did I meet my goals? My role is important in the group because this is where we will collect and organize our project. Our documents will be shared here, and our client can view our progress on their product. If I am not doing my part in keeping the site updated, then I am not advancing our team in the progression of the product. I do believe that so far I have met my goals.
  • When did I do this before? Where could I use this again? I have used this site before in creating sites for other courses. I will continue to use this site in this course, as well as another course I am currently enrolled. Also, creating and upholding the site for my team provides me with the foundation for doing the same as a professional outside of this course. This is an important element in project management that I will continue to see in the profession.
  • Do I see any patterns or relationships in what I did? The pattern I followed is staying on a deadline. I made sure that each part of the site was complete at a specific date and time.
  • How well did I do? What worked? What do I need to improve? I believe I kept my deadlines fairly well. Making a calendar helped in keeping me on task. I need to work on my communication with the team to make sure that I get all of my information that needs to be added to the website.
  • What should I do next? What's my plan / design? My next step is to add the remaining pages to the site. There are several pages that I need to include as the product progresses.
